Lobsta Rolls

One of Mr. Bear and my favorite dishes that my mom makes whenever we go home are Lobster Rolls. They are delicious, easy, and so so yummy - plus they just scream Connecticut! (Some lobster rolls are served cold w/ mayo - ours are hot and buttery, mmmm).
1lb Fresh Lobster Meat
1 stick butter
8 hot dog buns
1. Begin to melt the stick of butter over low-med heat. Add the lobster meat. Cook until butter is melted and lobster meat is tender.
2. Using a fork and knife, carefully cut the lobster into bite sized pieces. Spoon into a hot dog roll. Sprinkle with parsley. Enjoy alongside homemade french fries and coleslaw!

  1. I am drooling. WOW! THOSE LOOK AMAZING!!

  2. Mmmmmm... and they look SO easy... what's better than that?

  3. I never thought to go the warm way on the lobster rolls, I've only had them cold, with mayo, which is delish, but I can't eat mayo anymore. If I can find gluten-free/soy-free hotdog buns, hot damn, I am making lobster rolls for bubs and I!! Thanks for posting this - I puffy heart classic New England recipes!

  4. Being from Texas... I have never had a Lobster Roll... But I have always wanted to go to Maine JUST for one. or wherever the heck they have them. I would attempt to make them myself... but something tells me I need to go East to taste what a real one tastes like.

On another note- Tylers bday is this Friday.. and all he asked for was a Red Velvet Cake. Am I going to make it from scracth? HA! no way. The icing yes, the cake no.

  5. Yummy YUMMY! Thank you so much for sharing :) Since we've moved, I've had the chance to hone my cooking skills. Last night I made blueberry curry chicken salad with basmati rice = delish!

Hope you have a great day!

PS - Thank you for your kind words - I really appreciate the support!

  6. These look AMAZING and I'm glad you don't use mayo in it-- ick!
